Anna Jansen- IPA Founder and Director

Anna Jansen is an energetic instructor with years of teaching experience. She graduated with a Masters in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Georgia and holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Piano Performance and German from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. She has extensive teaching experience in both private and group lessons for students of all ages.  Anna founded Intermezzo Piano Academy in 2009 with the goal of motivating young pianists through ensemble experiences and group activities.

As a performer, Anna has played solo and collaboratively in several countries including China, Germany, Italy and the United States.  She runs her own private piano studio in Springfield, MO. Her professional affiliations include the National Federation of Music Clubs, Music Teachers National Association and the Missouri Music Teachers Association.

Ken Jansen

Ken has a Bachelors in Vocal Performance from Evangel University and a Masters in Choral Conducting from the University of Akron. He has had a passion and natural talent for music ever since he was young. Ken is proficient in several instruments including  voice, piano, guitar, saxophone, trumpet and accordion. He has toured with choirs and performed solo concerts throughout the United States. He is an avid composer/songwriter with a heart for imparting excellence in music to his students.

Grace Huang maintains an active career as a teacher and performer. Solo, concerto, and collaborative performances have taken her throughout the U.S. and abroad. Recent recital engagements include Charleston, SC and Cleveland, OH, as well as Austria and Taiwan.

Grace taught on the faculties of the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM), the University of Georgia, Millikin University, and St. Cloud State University, and has served as faculty for summer youth programs at CIM, UGA, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, the University of Illinois, and Charleston Southern University. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through Music Teachers National Association and an experienced instructor of both private and group piano lessons. Grace currently owns and operates an independent studio in Athens, GA where she enjoys working with students of all ages and levels.

Amanda Sacchitello has had a love for music and piano since she was 5 years old. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Georgia with a major in Music, Latin and Classical Culture. She has also received her Masters of Music Degree from the University of Georgia with a focus on Piano Pedagogy. She has been teaching private and group piano lessons through her school and church for the last three years, as well as in her own independent piano studio in Athens, GA.  Amanda performed as a member of the Humoresque piano ensemble from 2011-2013.
