Anna Jansen is an energetic instructor with years of teaching experience. She graduated with a Master’s in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Georgia and holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Piano Performance and German from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO.

Anna has extensive teaching experience in both private and group lessons for students of all ages.  She taught all levels of undergraduate class piano courses at the University of Georgia from 2009-2011, as well as Beginning Adult and ‘Keyboard Kids’ group classes at the UGA – Community Music School.  She has taught private lessons since 2006 and ran her own piano studio from 2011-2014 in Athens, GA. After teaching in the Chicago area for a year she has brought her private studio to Springfield, MO and will be accepting students starting in January 2016.

In 2009, she founded a piano summer camp called Intermezzo Piano Academy. She continues to direct and teach at IPA in its locations throughout Missouri and Georgia.

As a performer, Anna has played solo and collaboratively in several countries, including China, Germany, Italy and the United States. She was a member of the Humoresque piano ensemble, which performed concerts of unique 6-hand repertoire. Humoresque performed concerts in Athens and Atlanta from 2011-2013 and at the Greenwich House in New York City in February 2012.

Anna is a member of the National Music Teacher’s Association and the Missouri Music Teacher’s Association.

Instruments: Voice, Guitar, Jazz Piano

Ken Jansen has a Bachelors in Vocal Performance from Evangel University and a Masters in Choral Conducting from the University of Akron. He has had a passion and natural talent for music ever since he was young. Ken has been teaching and mentoring students for the past 15 years. His experience as a worship pastor has given him valuable insight into leading and training individuals.

Ken is proficient in several instruments including  voice, piano, guitar, saxophone, trumpet and accordion. He has toured with choirs and performed solo concerts throughout the United States. He is an avid composer/songwriter with a heart for imparting excellence in music to his students.
